Arrive & Settle In!

Welcome to Cartagena! Let’s have drinks and hang out at El Barón in San Pedro Claver Square in the Old City. If you arrived earlier, enjoy dinner literally anywhere near the bar—can’t go wrong!

Saturday, February 15

#LOVEFESTCTG

In the morning, we’ll take speedboats to an island 10 mins away from the city and enjoy the day sunning, eating, and drinking at Bomba Beach Club. We’ll return around 5-6 then get ready to party and enjoy a night tour on a chiva rumbera. The night (and chiva tour) both end at a local nightclub.

Sunday, February 16

Recovery Day!

Sleep in, then get some hangover food, maybe:

Walk around and explore the old plazas and street vendors. Enjoy a little museum action at either/both (they are across from each other):

Foodie Dinner

#treatyourself, gourmand! I’m looking forward to all of these:

If you’re up for more dancing, check out Cafe Havana. Otherwise, people-watch and walk around the old City.

Monday, February 17

I’m on a Boat! (opt-in)

We rent 1-2 boats (style and number depends on how many of us are down) to cruise down to the Rosario Islands and Cholón.

Fast Casual Dinner

Boat is an all day situation, so you’ll be tired. Perfect time to just chill out and try some Colombian fast food:

Tuesday, February 18

Back off, Sir Francis Drake!

Learn a little about Cartagena’s history at the San Felipe fortress, then buy some artisanal souvenirs in Las Bóvedas.

Caribbean Goodbye Dinner

Say goodbye to Cartagena with dinner and drinks at La Mulata (Isa loves this place), and more drinks at the Townhouse Rooftop.

Wednesday, February 19

Return to the US—until next time!
